Helping small businesses grow with design, print, and a bit of know-how
I realised that while there were plenty of designers, and plenty of printers, not many people really understood both. That’s where I saw the opportunity. By combining those skills, I could help small businesses get better results, save money, and make smarter decisions. That’s how Designed4Print was born.
I’m Tom Goymour, and I’ve been around print and design for more than four decades. In that time, I’ve seen the industry change beyond recognition — and I’ve built Designed4Print to help small businesses make the most of it.
From ink on paper to digital know-how
1 started out as a litho print operator, back when everything was slower, messier, and far less forgiving. Then the digital age arrived, and with it a new world of possibilities. Suddenly, design and print weren’t separate worlds anymore — they could (and should) work together.
Why small businesses need something different
The truth is, every small business has different needs. Technology keeps changing, new demands appear overnight, and the pressure to “get it right” with branding and marketing never really goes away. I understand that — and my mission has always been to fill the gap by offering straightforward, flexible support.
My philosophy is simple: give people the tools and advice they need to make good decisions, save time and money, and grow their brand.
The common problems I see
After working with hundreds of small businesses, I see the same challenges cropping up again and again:
Spending too much (or too little) on design and print
Buying the wrong products for the job
Struggling to get things done quickly enough
Failing to see how design and print decisions affect the bigger picture of their brand
How I help
I make it easier to cut through the noise. That means:
Giving you clear, honest advice about what works and what doesn’t
Offering practical resources you can use straight away
Providing high-quality design and print services at competitive prices
Creating simple strategies that fit your specific needs, not somebody else’s template
What’s next
If any of this sounds familiar, I’ve put together a Small Business Support Plan to get you started. It’s free, it comes with instant resources, and it includes a one-to-one discovery call where we’ll look at your brand and identify opportunities to grow.
