🔷 POST 1
Suggested Caption line: Most people don’t realise what goes into a painting.
Not just the time… but the thought behind it.
The places it comes from.
The feeling it’s trying to hold onto.
Some pieces begin with a real place, others start with nothing more than a mood.
And somewhere in between… something takes shape.
If you’ve ever wondered what that process actually looks like,
this is a really interesting place to start.

🔷 POST 2
Suggested Caption line: There isn’t one way a painting comes together.
Some start when I am outside – walking coastlines, watching light shift across a landscape.
Others come from memory… or just a feeling that won’t quite let go.
The early stages are often uncertain, loose and unresolved.
That’s part of it.
In fact, if something comes together too quickly, it usually means there’s more to find.
It’s not just about what you see – it’s about what’s behind it.
If you’re curious about that process, there’s a short guide that goes into it a little deeper.

🔷 POST 3
Suggested Caption line: What you see in a finished painting is only part of the story.
Behind it is a process – ideas forming, and then shifting – sometimes changing direction entirely.
I’ve put together a short guide ‘From Studio to Canvas’
It gives a glimpse into how my work comes together.
This free guide is simply a way for you to explore it a little further.
You can get bit from here:"
